Update regarding Covid-19

Covid-19 (Corona Virus) is a highly contagious disease. At Sound Health Care Center, we want to do our best to minimize exposure to both our patients and staff.

Masks are required in the building and all in person visits will be screened for COVID 19 including guests and/or caregivers.

Please do not enter our building if you develop a cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or loss of taste and/or smell. These symptoms may warrant a COVID test and should be screened by a medical professional. Please call (360)876-2434.

We do not offer the COVID 19 vaccine at this time. Contact your local pharmacy, ie: Safeway, Rite Aid or Walgreens.

We are conducting telehealth appointments for patients who have been exposed or are having COVID 19 symptoms. If during the visit your provider feels a COVID 19 test is necessary you will be asked to drive to our parking lot, line up in the round-a-bout and call us when you arrive at a specific time designated daily. Once all patients have arrived for testing, our medical assistants will dress in full PPE (personal protective equipment) and will assist patients with self swabs.

Results take 3-5 business days due to using PCR (nasopharyngeal) testing. These tests are sent to a lab (Quest diagnostics) for processing.

At this time our office is not offering the rapid testing for COVID 19 but is subject to change.

If you need a COVID 19 test for screening or traveling our office will schedule a telehealth appointment and follow the same instructions above. Although these are screening tests, our office will not swab any COVID tests in office to minimize exposure to staff and other patients. We do not guarantee results as our office is subject to the lab’s processing and the demand for testing.

Our office does offer the COVID 19 antibodies test. Please contact our office to schedule.
