I will keep you in my “jokes” file and continue to feed you the same garbage I get. Have a great retirement and maybe we can get together and bash Dubya sometime. See you around you old rascal.
    Jeff

You have taken such good care of me for the last 30 years… thank you. I think I will check into Ridgemont Terrace B&B for an overnight visit now and then just to see you. Enjoy the rest of your life!

First my Psychiatrist leaves to take a job at the Women’s Prison, then my Gynecologist retires and my new one moves to New Mexico, now you are retiring. Was it something I said? I hope you have a hobby to keep you busy. John and I will miss you very much.

  • Gary M says:

I’m going to miss you Dr. Steve. I’m really a little POd that you beat me to retirement. I thought I’d be out of my favorite shipyard before you hung ‘em up. I suspect I am really going to miss how you would tell a joke to take the edge off of those, ah-hem, more unpleasant examinations! Enjoy your retirement, old friend!

  • Dennis N says:

I have only been a patient of yours for the past 16 years and really only got to see you for my yearly physical. Will always remember your since of humor and always asking me if I’m still walking my dogs.
This past year during my physical I asked when you were going to retire–I guess you took me to heart. I know you will enjoy your retirement like I do.
Thanks again for making me feel always at ease. Dennis N.

Dr., In your parting interview, you speak of 1978 arrival. Coincidentally, Gloria and I arrived P.O. same time. Your
low key manner/humor both comforting. Gloria’s dad, Clarence, was also your impressed charge. Also, my mom,
Evelyn, at Ridgemont, small world! Congrats. Be well. Your comments on need for Health Care Reform, gave me
sound input and pause. Thank you. So, did age, or adoption of reform, move you to retirement? You have touched/helped
many people, in a positive manner. Good physician. A tribute, to the profession. Carl/Gloria

  • Bill M says:

    Hey Doc,
I would like to think it was me who pushed you into retirement after I had announced to you my own retirement from the shipyard after 35 plus years. I was sad to hear you we’re taking down your shingle but, at the same time as excited for you and your retirement as I am about my own. It’s a new chapter in our lives I hope you make the most of it. If you need some help on that kitchen give me a call.

  • Linda W says:

Dr. Frederikson I will miss you. I only had you as my physician for 10 years but you helped through some rough times health-wise and otherwise. Thank you for caring and making me laugh when I sometimes didn’t really feel like laughing. I wish you a happy retiremnt. God Bless!

  • Joan F says:

Dr Fredrikson Thank you for being so much fun to work with at Ridgemont Terrace. I will miss having you for my doctor. Thank you for your care of our family. Have a great retirement, you earned and look after your cactus this time

  • Diane A says:

Dr. Fredrikson, Can it really be 28 years since I came to you, and we started a mostly once a year relationship? Been a bit more frequent these last few years. Thank you for the quiet listening, and not chewing out a terribly non compliant patient. You were always wise enough to know while I was doing things my own way…we were doing fine. I did listen on the important parts!
Have a great retirement. Travel, explore, and putz around. Oh…and have a big laugh now and then, when you think of someone who worked in a pharmacy all those years, can’t read the directions right on an RX…ha ha…I blush about it now and then!
    Thanks again!

  • Can you believe I have just found this site after all this time?! Dan and I have wanted to say goodbye to you and thank you for all the years you gave being our family doctor. You are wonderful and we will never find anyone quite like you who understands us the way you do (especially me). Have a wonderful wonderful retirement. Dan and Kathy R

  • Dorothy Lindquist says:

I was disappointed when I heard you were retiring. You have always provided excellent medical care and good advice when needed. I am glad that my friend recommended you when I was looking for a doctor. She warned me about your sense of humor but she said that when it comes to practicing medicine you had a “no-nonsense” approach. You are not only a good doctor but also a good listener. Thank you for recommending Dr. Brad Frandsen. I am very pleased to be his patient. Dorothy

  • Karen H says:

We will fondly remember you as a neighbor and friend. We loved all the dogs that graced our hood and and especially loved Maja. I hope you have a great retirement and hope to see you somewhere! Karen Hanson, Travis and Teresa
